Will I Be Billed For My Free Trial
No. Registration to Eroticy is 100% free. We do not require any billing information to register your user name and utilize your free trial membership. After your free trial has expired you are still a member of our site, you can still access several areas, such as our polls and quizzes, you will still receive email notifications, and are able to check your inbox to see who has sent you mail, and view member profiles, etc. You are unable to access areas that are restricted for our upgraded members, such as reading and replying to mail, viewing member pics, participation in our live cam shows, viewing videos, etc. Your user name is reserved and can be upgraded only by you. Email is held for 25 days from the date it was received. If your account remains inactive for a period of time your profile will eventually be removed, but your user information will remain reserved until you are ready to rejoin our online community.

How Do I Activate My Account
YOU MUST BE SIGNED IN TO ACTIVATE YOUR ACCOUNT - Type www.eroticy.com in a new browser window. Click on the sign in link near the top of the page. Enter your username and password. Click on submit, then click on activate account that is right below sign in. Enter the code that was sent to your email address ( this should be a numeric code. It does not contain any letters). If you find you are having trouble locating the activation code field - once you have successfully signed in using your user name and password, attempting to access a member's only area should automatically bring the prompt to you.

I Have Not Received My Activation Code
Please click the following link to have your activation code resent to you. Just enter your registered email address in the field provided. http://www.eroticy.com/MemberServices/LostPassword/ResendActivation.aspx

If you are having difficulty receiving your activation code you may have a spam filter that is blocking the activation email. To receive the activation code you will need to temporarily disable any spam guards/filters you have enabled. To disable the spam guards/filters from your email account please see the setting options in your email account. Once you have disabled the spam guards/filters on your email account please enter in your email address and press submit.

My Free Trial Expired Early
If you are having a problem re-entering the site before your 3 day free trial is over, the information below should help you. In 99% of the cases, it is a problem the cookie being set on your computer. Also, make sure that you are entering the site through a new web browser page, typing in Eroticy's URL. Do not enter through any links you may have in your email or favorites. If you are sure you have logged in correctly and are still having problems accessing your 3 day trial please click the following link. This will automatically trouble shoot your browser - any alterations necessary will appear in red and provide you step by step instructions on making the adjustment(s). http://www.eroticy.com/MemberServices/ConfigurationTest.aspx

I Cannot Register a New Account
I'm sorry, but we only allow one user name per person, and one free trial per location. If someone has already registered a free trial, our security features will not allow us to grant a second account. If you were not able to access your account for any reason during your 3 day trial period, please email Lisa@cherish.com and she will reset your account for you.

Why Can't I Access My Email
If you have not upgraded your account and find you can no longer access your mail, your free trial has expired. Email is held for 30 days from the date it was received. If your account remains inactive for a period of time your profile will eventually be removed, but your user information will remain reserved until you are ready to rejoin our online community.

How Does My Eroticy Membership Appear On My Statement
Your Eroticy membership will appear on your statement as a charge from WebCapades. We do not release your account information to anyone other then the account holder. For our members who require additional privacy, we recommend upgrading using our money order option.

Why Is My Card Declining
If your bank has declined the transaction, you may want to check and make sure you entered all information, such as name, address and phone number excatly as it appears on your billing statement. You may also want to check that you have entered the correct CVV2 number and expiration date. If your bank is still refusing the transaction, you may want to try a different card. If you are receiving "DUPLICATE REJECTED" you have already successfully upgraded your account. We also accept check and money order payments through the mail.

How Do I Cancel My Membership
Members are able to cancel an Eroticy.com service at anytime. If you would like to cancel your paid subscription, and had paid by credit card through the site, you would send a cancellation request to Lisa@cherish.com including your user name and registered email address at least 3 days prior to your next billing date. The cancellation request will be processed within 48 hours. Your account will remain active until the date your next scheduled billing would have occurred.

I Have Upgraded But Cannot Access My Account
If you upgraded via credit card, sign out by clicking the link "sign out". Then open a new browser window and type in www.eroticy.com directly, do not go through any links like this one or go through yahoo or favorites. Click on sign in and enter your username and password. When it says Welcome (your username) up top, make sure your screen is refreshed.

If you upgraded via online check, your membership will not be upgraded until your online check payment clears the bank. This can take up to 7-10 business days. Once your payment is cleared by your bank, your account will be automatically upgraded.

I Can Read Mail, But Not Send Replies
If you are able to access member areas, such as viewing pics on profiles, and reading email, but find you are unable to access other areas, such as opening member picture galleries, or replying to mail, you probably have pop-up blocking software on your system. Most pop-up blocking programs have "Active" and "Passive" controls, you should be able to turn this feature on and off with ease. Some of the features of our site are enhanced with java, and require "pop-up" windows. Turning your pop-up block off while accessing our site will allow you to fully enjoy your membership with our online community.

Video / Live Show Difficulties
Experiences of blurry videos on our site can most often be fixed by downloading the latest version of Microsoft Windows Media player. You can find a link to this download here: http://www.eroticy.com/MemberServices/Tools.aspx . A slow connection speed is usually the cause of “choppy” videos, live shows that pause, or only receiving sound. If you are using a dial-up modem to connect to the Internet, you should always choose the lowest video link possible keeping in mind your connection speed is determined not only by your modem, but also your available bandwidth.

I Have Lost My User Name / Password
Please click the following link to have your user name and password resent to you. Just enter your registered email address in the field provided. http://www.eroticy.com/MemberServices/LostPassword/LostPassword.aspx

Answers To FAQs for Groups
What is a Group?
A Group is a collective of Eroticy members who have joined an assembly of others who share a common interest. Thus a Group has a name and a description for any given subject. Group members can then share their ideas by way of Topics, and Replies.

How do I create a Group?
The first step is to select a Category. This Category becomes the primary idea behind a group. For example, the Category Health and Fitness will have groups that pertain to anything that has to do with health and fitness, be it exercise, dieting, running, nutrition tips, and more. Categories are found in the Groups home page. Once you have selected a category, click on the down-pointing arrows inside the circle to expand the form. There, enter a title for your group, and a brief description. You can also choose to make the group Private (see What is a Private Group? below) if you want to keep it to a close circle of friends. Select a photo for your group (optional) and click "Create Group". You are now the owner of that Group.

How do I join a Group?
Select a Category of interest to you, from the Groups home page. You will then see a list of all Groups falling under that Category. Choose a Group that would interest you. From that Group's informational page, select the "Join" button.

How do I add a Group Picture?
If you are the owner of a Group, go to your Group's informational page, and select "Edit". Near the bottom of the page, you will see a short form with a Browse button, and an "Upload Photo" button. First click on the Browse button, and select a photo from your PC. Then click the "Upload Photo" button. You're done. Your group now has a photo. You can do this as often as you like, but please know that people are visual, and changing your group's photo too often will make your group lose some identity.

How do I edit the settings for a Group I own?
Go to your Group's informational page, and select "Edit". There you will see your group's photo, the title, and the description. You will also see a set of settings below that. Choose the setting you wish to give your group, and "Save Edit".

What is a Private Group?
A private group’s topics and replies can only be viewed by subscribed members. All members who wish to join the group have to be approved by the group owner. Subscribed members can be removed from the group by the group owner at any time. A group can be changed from public to private and from private to public at any time.

What is a Topic?
A Topic is a remark made to a Group. You can only post topics to a Group you are a member of. However, you can read others' Topics to a Groups (as long as those Groups are not Private).

What is a Reply?
A Reply is a remark made to a Topic. The same rules apply to Replies as they do to Topics (see Topics above).

What is an Active Group?
Any Group that can accept Topics and Replies, as well as new members, is Active. As a Group owner, you can select to make your Groups not Active. This is OK if you choose to ,say, go on vacation or plan to stay away as a Group owner (administrator) for a short while.

How do I remove myself from a Group?
Select a Groups you ahve subscribed to, and click the "Unscubscribe" button. That simple.

How do I invite others to my Group or a Group I belong to?
When you are a member or owner of a group, you have the ability to invite friends to a group. Simply go to the group page and click the invite button next to the description. This will bring you to the invite page. You will see a text box where you can enter a member name or email address. Once you have entered a name into the box, click the add button. You will see it appear in the Invite list. For quicker access, we have listed the people in your friends list to the left. You can view them in list form or icon view. Simply click on their user name to add them to the invite list. Once you have listed all of the people you want to send an invitation to, click the Invite Friends button below the Invite list and emails will be sent. In the following page you will see a list of people who were invited.

Why can't I see my group information on the homepage?
If you cannot see your "My Groups" or "Subscribed Groups" on the Groups Home Page, you are probably not logged in. You must be logged in to fully use all of the Groups functions.

Why does a section of a page look blank or only have a header?
Groups has implemented hidden section functions. Click on the small round double down arrow icon next to the blank section in order to make it visible. To hide a section again simply click the double up arrow icon.

What is the "Go Back..." menu and why does it change?
The "Go Back..." menu was designed to make it easier to move around the groups area. The menu options link back to each page required to get to the present page. Ex: On the topics page, the menu would contain the Group the topic belongs to. Below that would be the category the group is in. Below that would be a link to the Groups Home Page.

What is the "Jump To..." menu?
The "Jump To..." menu was designed to give you quick access to the most commonly visited pages in the Groups section. MyGroups brings you back to a list of Groups you own. Subscribed brings you to a page list of all groups you belong to, but do not own. Categories brings you to the same list of categories that appear on the Groups Home Page. Help brings you to this FAQ page.

How do I create a Topic?
To create a topic, you must own or be a member of a group. Navigate your way to the Group page and scroll to the section labelled "Create a new Topic for Discussion". Enter a topic title that will give the members a general idea of what the topic is. In the description box, write a full description of the topic. You can give statements, ask questions or whatever is on your mind to start a discussion. Once completed, click the create topic button to see it appear in the topics list. Be sure to click the "View all" link near the bottom of the list to see all available topics in that group!

How do I post a reply to a topic?
To create a reply, you must own or be a member of a group. Navigate your way to the Group page and scroll to the section labelled Group Topics. Click on the topic you want to add a reply to. If you do not see the topic in this list, click View All to see a list of all topics for this group. Simply scroll to the replies section and enter your reply into the text box at the bottom. Simply click the Save button to post your reply!

Why can't I see the topics list on the Group Summary page?
If you belong to the group, you are likely not logged into the site. Simply sign in to see the topics. If you are not a member of the group, it is likely that this group is Private (see "What is a Private Group?" above). If you are not a member of a private group, you cannot see the topics or replies of that group. You will have be accepted as a member of the group. To request membership in the private group simply click the Join button.

How do I start or stop the automatic emails that are sent when people create new topics or replies?
Navigate to the Group Summary page. Make sure the group details are visible by clicking the white circle with 2 up arrows. Click the Edit Notify button. To stop receiving a particular email type, uncheck it's box. To receive the mail again, put a check into the box. Click the Save button to accept the changes.
